Assistant Commercial Tire Store Manager

Purcell Tire and Service Center has an immediate Assistant Commercial Tire Store Manager opening in our Joplin, MO location!

Assistant Commercial Manager:

Assistant Managers will work with the Store Manager to ensure the overall success and performance of the store, measured by achievement of specific financial goals and objectives while creating an environment of quality work, teamwork and high morale to ensure a positive customer experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  Comparing daily sales and service sales to objectives
Ø Reviewing invoices daily
Ø Following pricing policies which will provide satisfactory gross margins.
Ø Monitoring sales activities to ensure customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods
Ø Assigning both recurring and randomly occurring tasks to store employees for completion
Ø Enforcing safety, health, and security rules and following all company-issued policies/procedures
Ø Maintaining a clean shop and customer waiting area, including restrooms to reflect the proper corporate image to the public
Ø Scheduling employees’ shifts and approving timecards weekly
Ø Recruiting and hiring qualified employees. Conducting ongoing training of all store personnel and developing employees for advancement within the company. 
Ø Making bank deposits at the end of each day
Ø Cleaning, restocking, and updating store displays daily.
Ø Submitting p-card statements to the accounts payable department weekly
Ø Conducting monthly safety meetings with store employees and submitting signed attendance sheets to the corporate office
Ø Maintaining proper telephone answering techniques
Ø Soliciting new accounts
Ø Protecting company assets (inventory, cash accounts, receivables, equipment and real estate).
Ø Train store personnel
Ø Embrace Purcell’s culture of safety and perform all jobs in a safe manner
Ø Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule
Ø Ability to perform physical requirements as listed in job description
Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management
